Cut Through the Noise and Connect With Your Audience

Everyone is so busy these days, even more so than in the past. We are barraged with on-line advertising and social media occupies too much of our time. How do you cut through all that noise and connect with your audience? With the right message to the right person.
A picture paints a thousand words, but well-chosen words can paint a picture that sells.
For example, a modest, single-story, "older" home had been on the market for almost 18 months. Three
different brokers advertised it as a four bedroom ranch, with
no success. The astute fourth broker...

Real Estate is Like Online Dating
Posted 1:16 PM 7/7/2020 by Deb Maurer
Anyone who has ever tried on-line dating can tell you how hard it is to describe yourself. We try hard to identify elements of ourselves to play up and advertise, often asking friends and family to help with descriptive adjectives and flowery statements. All in the hope that we can attract just the right person who is a good fit.
The same is true in advertising a home. A picture paints a thousand words, but well chosen words
can paint a picture that sells. Word Marketingwill teach you what to look for and
how to identify elements in your listing, and help you write powerful ads to attract the right buyer.
The right buyer is the one found quickly, easily, and meets or exceeds the listing price.

About The Author: Therese
Posted 8:28 AM 7/6/2020 by Deb Maurer
I have been very blessed with having some wonderful people in my life, this lady is one of them, Therese Kasemodel, the author of Word Marketing. She is my Mother-in-law and one of my biggest fans. It was her idea that I get into the real estate because she knows I'm a people person, and she and I have also bonded. We are cut from the same cloth and see eye to eye on many things. So even though I spent the last decade as the National Sales Director for a diamond technology company, she urged me to get into the business of selling homes, so off I go!
She loved being in real estate. A true testimonial is one of her past clients valued her
expertise so much, that even though Therese had already put in 40+ years, they wanted her to renew
her real estate license so she could again be their agent. THAT is customer loyalty, and another story.
My Intro to Word Marketing
Posted 9:19 AM 7/5/2020 by Deb Maurer
Way back in 2014, I had my first glimpse of a book written by Therese Kasemodel, a real estate career professional that started at Wauwatosa Realty Company and ending with Shorewest. (one became the other).
The first time I picked up the book, I found it interesting because I had a long love affair with looking at houses. For years, I was constantly looking at properties because I was making mental plans to boogie and woogie ...
I plan to publish the 4th Edition of Word Marketing via this fancy blog. It will include
updates from my perspective as well as input from Therese Kasemodel ... and anyone else
who might like to comment.
