About Deb, Mia and Real Estate

Life takes you where you manifest it to be.
In 2014 I rode my bike up the driveway of a condo I was told was for sale, stuck out my hand to a guy standing in the driveway in a pair of shorts, and said Hi, I'm deb...I heard this place is for sale.
It turned out the condo was not for sale; the owner, a retired Real Estate Broker had no intention of moving into a retirement community just yet. I didn't really want to live in a condo anyhow, I wanted a big dog and I needed a house with a fenced-in yard for that.
Two years later I married Kase, the guy in the shorts and we have an awesome German Shepherd, Mia. The retired Real Estate Broker, Therese, sold me her condo where we currently reside. Therese also wrote the book Word Marketing How to Empower Real Estate Advertising Through the Proper Choice of Words
Me and Real Estate
Last week I passed my Real Estate exam. I took an on-line course a couple of months ago and have been studying during the Covid-19 lock down. As I had broken both my arms in multiple places the last week of March, sheltering in place was not difficult. I wasn't going anywhere... I did not have the strength in my arms to hold a bath towel for almost a month.
All I could do was binge watch science fiction and do another module on-line. You can stop the lecture midsentence and rewind! How cool is that?
Tip for future Wisconsin test takers, don't stress out about the math. One of the best things I did was to go to YouTube and watch real estate math videos. I particularly liked Travis Everette from North Carolina and how he explained how to think about what was being asked which makes it easier to remember because it's not just a formula anymore.
